Authors interested in the EWGT 2026 conference are welcome to submit their extended abstracts of max. 3 pages before March 01st 2026, online via the SysKonf online platform (link below). Extended abstracts should outline the main objectives of your study, research methodology, results and contribution. Abstracts can contain preliminary findings and/or expected outcomes, but these should be eventually finalised and provided later at the full-paper submission stage.
Abstracts must be submitted in PDF format only, and should strictly adhere to formatting guidelines provided in Word / LaTeX templates below. Please using the following templates to prepare your extended abstracts:

Remember to provide information of all the co-authors and indicate the corresponding author for each submission. Please also indicate up to 3 research topics relevant to your submission (from the list provided on the SysKonf platform). You can update and submit your abstract before the submission deadline.
Each submission will be reviewed by the EWGT Scientific Committee. Decisions on accepted abstracts will be communicated around March 25th 2026. You may be asked to revise your submissions based on the reviewers’ comments. Authors of accepted abstracts will be invited in the second stage to submit a full-paper manuscript. Final acceptance for publication is contingent on satisfactory revision (if requested). Each paper must be also registered for and eventually presented at the EWGT 2026 conference. Please mind that each paper can be linked only to a single registration (of one corresponding author).
Accepted manuscripts will be published in the Transportation Research Procedia, continuing the long-standing partnership between Elsevier and EURO Working Group on Transportation. There will be also an opportunity to submit extended manuscripts for consideration in the special issues of high-impact transport journals. Details on special journal issues and the full EWGT Scientific Committee will be announced soon.
